Pebble Class Assembly!
"Hello everyone, we are pebble class! We are so excited to share what we have been learning! But first, we want to sing you two of our favourite songs!"
Songs: "I am a Mole" (the Southlanders) and "Baby Beluga" (Raffi)
"We have been writing fantastic stories and reading these books! We have been learning about sunflowers and finding out how seeds grow. We planted our own sunflowers. Now we are waiting for them to grow!"
Song: "The Seed Song" (Ark Music Collective)
"We have been learning about bees and how important they are for our world"
Song: "Happy Little Honeybee" (Claudia Robin Gunn)
"We can’t imagine a world without bees! We want to look after our world so it stays beautiful and healthy. We may be small, but we are powerful!!! We can make a difference and you can too!"
"We can recycle! We can turn off the taps to not waste water. We can turn off the lights to not waste electricity. We can plant flowers and gardens for the bees and butterflies and not use pesticides in our gardens! That kills bees!"
"So let's look after our world together. We may be small, but together we can do it! So tomorrow will be happy!!"
Song: "Tomorrow" (Mister Rogers) "Thank you for coming to our first assembly!"
Songs at the beginning and end: "What a Wonderful World" (Louis Armstrong) and 'Give Me Sunshine' (Morecambe & Wise)
