In 3B, we made models of hill forts, which are ancient forts built on hills to help protect against attacks. People used them in the Iron Age because the height gave a good view of the surrounding land.

To create our models, we used card, felt tips, paper, glue, tissue paper, and paint. We had fun using different materials to show the steep hills, walls, and roundhouses that made up these strong and clever settlements.
