This week at nursery, we had a fantastic time celebrating Culture Week, and our chosen country was the beautiful island of Grenada!

The children enjoyed listening to a delightful story called "The Ball and the Magic Crab", a tale often shared with young children in Grenada. It sparked our imaginations and got us excited to learn more about this vibrant country.

We got creative and painted bright, colourful pictures inspired by Grenada’s stunning sand, sea, and palm trees. The artwork was filled with vivid blues, greens, and yellows!

As we explored Grenada, we learned that it is located in the Caribbean Sea and is famous for having 40 beautiful beaches. We also had lots of fun dancing to Carnival music, moving to the rhythm just like they do during Grenada’s famous Carnival celebrations!

One of the highlights of the week was our celebration feast, where we tasted food from around the world. A big thank you to all the parents who contributed such delicious dishes — the children loved trying new flavours and sharing this experience together.
