At nursery this week, our little artists have been diving into the world of colour mixing using pigment paints. Using the double primary system gives children a broader palette to experiment with. Powder paints encourage independence, experimentation, and sensory engagement. Children learn how to mix the powder with water, learning about texture, consistency, and control.
