Last week, Year 2 went on a trip to the seaside town of Whitstable as part of our topic 'Let's Explore'.

We travelled on a double decker coach and even though the weather was not in our favour, we were so lucky it stopped raining by the time we arrived at Whitstable!

After a nice walk by the harbour, where we saw some turtles made from coconuts and oysters, we found a nice spot by the sea to have lunch. Everyone was so sensible and we all enjoyed having our lunch at the beach. Then, we were able to explore the beach and we went on the hunt for some sea shells before getting our feet into the water. We had such a good time! After all the fun, we had to head back to school and some of us managed to have a little nap on the coach.
