6L - Visit to the Horniman Museum September 2023

Our topic, Ancient Egypt, got off to a fantastic start this term with a visit to the Horniman Museum. We had the opportunity to handle actual artefacts from Ancient Egypt. We discussed what we could learn about life in Ancient Egypt by examining the artefacts. Finally, we discussed whether or not it is fair and right to keep these objects in this country. It was a fascinating experience and we felt very lucky to have had this chance to 'touch' history.
