5F Culture Week - Food Tasting

To kick off Culture Week 2024, Year 5 tried some of the delicacies from our focus country, Türkiye.
We tried Pide (bread), Cacik (yogurt with cucumber and garlic), grilled olives, Dolma (stuffed vine leaves), rose jam, dates, pomegranate, peach biscuits and of course, Turkish Delight!
We were very open-minded and tried things we were not sure of. We enjoyed everything and it has made us want to try some other dishes that we have learned about this week such as Baklava and Kebap.
