For our memorable experience, we took part in a Lego workshop - linked with our Science, History and DT.

Julian gave us the task of designing and creating a moon buggy which would travel on the space station and explore the moon. It needed to be compact, light-weight and be able to travel over the bumpy, rocky surface of the moon without breaking.

We had to communicate well with our partners, solve problems creatively and be incredibly resilient - some of the engineering was really tricky.

‍

All of us were able to produce really amazing moon buggies despite the challenges.

‍

We tested the effectiveness of our designs on Lego moon surfaces and they were successful!

We had a great day and developed lots of important skills.
