We've explored...Birds!
Thursday, April 18, 2024
A birds nest inspired the children to investigate birds, nests and eggs.
We became enthusiastic bird watchers and made binoculars to help us spot birds in the garden.
We explored the diversity of birds by discussing different types, such as sparrows, robins, pigeons, ducks, and owls. We Showed the children pictures or videos of each type to help children recognise them.
The children used their imaginations to design gardens, nests and eggs.
By exploring the world of birds, children can develop an appreciation for nature and a better understanding of the diversity of life around them. Encourage your child to continue observing and learning about birds at home.
