On Thursday, it was World Poetry Day.

Catford Library invited us to take part in a workshop with a poet called Justin.

‍

We performed poems, selected our 'magical' words and experiences and wrote a poem collaboratively.

‍

At the end of the session, we were able to write poems to someone 'magic' in our lives on tiny scrolls. We placed these scrolls inside glass jars, put a cork in them and took them home.

‍

It was a great workshop and it made us want to write even more poetry!
