Monday 18th Duckling Update

This afternoon we had our first chance to hold the ducklings and watch them swim!
We talked first about keeping calm so as not to scare or injure the ducklings and then the children did a wonderful job of letting them explore their laps and giving them lots of gentle strokes and tickles.
After everyone had held them, we put them in the pool to swim. The ducklings loved dunking their heads under and bobbing around the pool.

We also named our ducklings this afternoon! Have a look at the wheel for the names we came up with. We spun the wheel and got 4 winners. Our ducklings are called:

Sweet Hunny Bunny
