Geography - The Water Cycle
Tuesday, November 14, 2023
In Geography, we have been learning about the different parts of the water cycle: evaporation, condensation, precipitation and collection.
To test this out, we created our own mini water cycles in plastic bags. Today, we saw evidence of the cycle working! The water had been heated up by the sun (and the radiator) and became water vapour. We saw the condensation collecting inside the bag and then droplets of water running down as precipitation. The whole cycle will begin again as the droplet falls to the bottom of the bag. We will continue to observe what happens next!
If you need a reminder of the stages of the water cycle, watch this video again and try the quiz!
