DINOSAURS!!!! How do we know about the past?

Dinosaur play is rife at our nursery on any given day and they are always somewhere to be found – in the sand, water, outside – we don’t mind where!
We have talked about their different body parts and compared their bodies to our own, using questions such as how many feet do they have, how many do we have? We also talked about where they come from and how they hatch out of eggs.
We have read stories about dinosaurs and have learnt some facts! The children have had great fun learning all the dinosaurs' names, drawing dinosaurs, and learning about prehistoric times.
