This week we have enjoyed firework themed activities and learnt about why we might see and hear about fireworks during this time of year. We read the story of Diwali- the festival of light and made Diva lamps. We looked at how Hindu people celebrate Diwali and decorated our hands with Mehndi.
We have also been getting ready for 'Sports for Schools' day and had our first PE lesson. We finished the week by learning about Armistice day and why some people are wearing poppies.
