Last week 1G received a letter from Farmer Jen! (see attached)

Farmer Jen asked us to join the 'Egg Drop Challenge' - this is where the children need to design, make and test containers that can carry an egg safely!

1G set to work in partners designing, making and finally testing their containers. They were really hard across the whole week. They showed great determination to get their container just how they wanted it to be. They worked as a team throughout the process - sharing and listening to each other's ideas.

The final results of the test were: 10 eggs survived and 4 eggs unfortunately cracked or smashed!

The children LOVED the challenge and had so much fun!

Farmer Jen has now got all the successful containers and will use them to deliver the duck eggs in March!
