Today we welcomed Rasta Rolla to our school! We learned all about the history and origins of the famous Notting Hill Carnival, discovering how it began as a celebration of Caribbean culture, community and togetherness.

We also enjoyed a brilliant demonstration of a penny-farthing bicycle! We discovered how these unusual bicycles worked and learned about what cycling was like in Victorian times. It was amazing to see such a fascinating piece of history up close.
