This half term we have been learning about the seasons. Can you remember how many there are and what they are called?

We started our learning by thinking about the season that just passed and the season we are in now. Then we talked about the similarities and differences between Summer and Autumn. We thought about the activities people do, what we wear, wildlife that we see and the weather.

Now that we are moving into Autumn, we are going to focus on the weather. Last week we planned rain gauges - thank you to everyone who brought in a bottle to use! Today we worked in 3's to make a rain gauge. Can you tell someone at home what steps you took to make the rain gauge?

Looking at the weather it seems that we might be waiting a while to use our rain gauges but at least we will be ready!!
