Thursday was another magical day on our Holbeach Holiday. We headed to Shanklin to pay a visit to friends of ours at Glory Art Glass. We watched a glass ornament being made before enjoying learning how glass is blown. We almost jumped out of our skins when Ed smashed the glass bubble he’d blown 🙂 We spent the next hour shopping on the high street. Most of the money was spent at the legendary  ‘Rock Shop’. After a picnic lunch on the beach, we set off to our go karting activity. The afternoon was spent burning rubber around the track. Before leaving, we held our awards ceremony. Barney placed first, closely followed by Luca I. Zekiera took third place. Kevin was also recognised for being the most supportive member of the pit team. Quote of the day came from Alex who said, ‘This is as good as it gets!!’
