After a great night’s sleep, we were up bright and early for our pre-breakfast farm jobs!

Some children helped with herding and feeding the sheep, others checked on the chickens, and another group fed the pigs. Everyone worked hard and showed fantastic teamwork.

Breakfast this morning was delicious crumpets with jam, which gave us lots of energy for the busy morning ahead.

After breakfast, the groups split off for different activities. One group prepared our exciting “wild lunch”, another visited the Oldfield Dairy to learn more about how the dairy works, and the third group took care of the horses!

This afternoon, we are all looking forward to a slightly more relaxing time with crafts and a peaceful walk around the beautiful local countryside. The children continue to impress the staff with their enthusiasm, manners and responsibility around the farm!
