Hi Year 1!

Welcome back! We hope you have all had a restful and relaxing holiday. We have enjoyed welcoming you back to school and know that we are going to have a fantastic year of fun and learning.

‍

To help the children transition into year 1, please can you label all of their belongings. From next week, we will start our P.E lessons. Each child needs aP.E bag with a plain t-shirt, plain pair of short, tracksuit bottoms and a pair of trainers/plimsolls. It would be really helpful if you could label all items in the bag with your child's name. We can reunite lost items much easier with a name.

Next week, all children will bring home a book of their choice from the book corner to share with an adult at home. Please note this is not the same as their Phonics book (these will be sent out at some point on the week beginning the 15th of September) so they are not expected to read this to you, it is a book to enjoy together.
