When we work together, the job gets done!
Together, Pebble class pulled down our class cardboard tube tree trunk, stripped off the old paper and paint layers and repainted it with PVA, sand and brown paint. It looks beautiful and fresh again and feels rough, like real tree bark! What a team!
We continue to enjoy doing our paired reading and have even started paired writing. We love to work together, support each other and learn from each other!
Our garden continues to flourish as we look after it together!
This week we have been learning about the importance of trees for clean air, stabilising the soil, food and habitats. We don't want to cut them down for paper, so we are learning how to reduce, reuse and recycle our paper. We talked about making our own paper from old newspapers. Maybe you could try this at home during the half term break!
Enjoy a wonderful break and see you back at school on Tuesday, 2nd June!
