In our science lessons, we have been learning all about plants and their different parts. To bring our learning to life, we visited our local park for an exciting “Plant Hunt.”

During our visit, students explored the natural environment and took part in a fun activity where they spotted and identified different parts of plants. From seeds and bark to fruits and flowers, they carefully observed the variety of plant features around them.

The children also completed detailed observation drawings, focusing on what they could see in front of them. This helped them to slow down, look closely, and appreciate the small details in nature.

It was a wonderful hands-on experience that combined learning with exploration. The activity not only deepened their understanding of plants but also encouraged curiosity and creativity in the great outdoors.
