What an amazing day we had on our pirate adventure to Ladywell Park!

When we arrived, Captain Hook had left us a series of secret clues that led us on a treasure hunt around the park. The children worked brilliantly together, using teamwork, problem-solving and careful thinking to crack the pirate codes and follow the trail to different locations.

Along the way, we spotted some very special "pirate parrots" – the beautiful green parakeets that live in the park! The children were so excited to feed them and watch them fly around the trees. It was a magical moment that everyone enjoyed.

After lots of searching, clue-solving and pirate adventures, we finally discovered the hidden treasure! The children were thrilled with their discovery and celebrated like true pirates.

Once our adventure was over, we returned to school and enjoyed a lovely picnic outside together. It was the perfect way to end a fantastic day.

We were incredibly proud of all the children. They were exceptionally well behaved, listened carefully, showed kindness to one another and fully embraced their pirate roles with fantastic acting and lots of enthusiasm. They truly made us smile with their "Arrrghs!" and pirate voices throughout the day!

Thank you for helping your child come prepared for our adventure. We are sure you will have some very tired little pirates this evening—they certainly earned their treasure!
