In English, we have been learning about non-fiction texts and their features. We explored how information texts include headings, facts, paragraphs, and sometimes pictures to help the reader understand the topic clearly.

After learning about the features, we chose an animal to write our own information text about. First, we read lots of interesting facts about our animal. Then, we worked in pairs to plan our writing carefully. Planning helped us organise our ideas and decide what information to include.

We had great fun discovering new facts and learning things we didn’t know before. It was exciting to become animal experts and prepare to share our knowledge with others!

We can’t wait to finish writing our information texts and teach our readers all about our amazing animals.
