This week we have been sharing the story Owl Babies by Martin Waddel. We learnt that owls are ‘nocturnal’ and baby owls are called ‘owlets’. We talked about different homes for woodland animals. We gathered materials and created owl homes. We discussed how owls and other birds would build their nests high in trees to protect against predators.
