We have had another very busy term in Year 1!! We have enjoyed our topic ‘Eggs Let’s Get Cracking’.
We became chefs and cooked lots of yummy recipes with eggs, as artists we sketched birds and then made sculptures out of clay and we also became Mother ducklings and looked after our eggs and ducklings so well!
Wow Year 1, you have done so much and worked so hard!! Make sure you take the opportunity to rest, relax and hopefully enjoy some lovely weather. Here are some things you could do to get a start on our new topic.
Go on a Spring walk. What signs of spring can you see? How does it feel? You could draw a map of where you went or write a list of the things you saw. You might even want to take some photos on your walk.
Write a book review for a book that you read over the Easter holidays. What did you like about it? Can you give a short summary? Who else would enjoy the book? What was your favourite part and why?
Find about where food comes from. Think about what you eat lots of, perhaps a fruit or vegetable. Where does it come from?
Don’t forget to use bug club, mymaths, times table rockstars and numbots.
