Year 1 Home Learning

This week in Maths the focus is Multiplication specifically, arrays!

At home can you choose an object that you have lots of (lego pieces, paperclips, pencils) Take these objects and lay them out in equal rows. Once you have done this, can you write a number sentence to match your array? See below for ideas:

This week we have continued learning the story ‘The Little Red Hen‘ can you tell the story to someone at home, try and remember all of the parts to the story! Use the story map below to help you 🙂

This week we would like you to practise these common exception words. Read them, say them out loud and write each word three times.

After practising the words, ask an adult to test you to see if you can remember how to spell them.

Then think of a sentence for each word. For example: There were four ducklings in the pool.
