Year 3: Works of art!
We had our pictures taken as part of Steve McQueen’s photography project!
Before we had our photographs taken we talked with the artist about what we could and couldn’t infer from photographs.
We also did physical activities to make us think about different images.

Chocolate rocks
We turned our rocks into molten magma by heating them.
We made rock particles using grated chocolate.
We put pressure on the sediment to make sedimentary rocks.
We applied heat and pressure to make metamorphic rocks.

BBC 500 Words Competition
On Wednesday, I did an assembly about the short story writing competition that BBC Radio Two is holding. We heard Honey’s exciting story; The Escape of the Chicken Nuggets.
Lots of you have already read their story to me or told me what you are going to write about, and they sound wonderful! Comment below if you have a great idea for a story too.
