If you need to review the work we’re doing this week you can look at these video lessons:
Hi Year 5!
We are all really proud of how hard you are working!
If you missed a lesson (or you just want to practise something again) you could look at the videos below which might help you!
Maths: We have been looking at different ways to multiply and divide.
In English we learned how to write an instructional text. (There are lots of lessons in this link, start at the first lesson and work your way along!)
This term, our topic was ‘Water, Water Everywhere’.
We have made a video to share our learning.
Hello Year Five,
This week will be the last week that we post your home learning on the blog. From next week we will putting your home learning onto Microsoft Teams.
If you have not yet downloaded Teams onto a computer at home or are having difficulty then please speak to Mr Morris, our assistant headteacher.
When you open up teams and go into your class group, there will be a channel on the left hand side that says ‘home learning’. This is where you will find your homework.
Don’t forget we give you new maths homework on My Maths every week for you to try at home and you can always log in to Bug Club to practise your reading.
Back to this week.
We have been finding out about different sea creatures. Choose an animal that interests you and find out about its appearance, habitat and behaviour. Tell your teacher about it next week!
Maths: Use https://www.mymaths.co.uk/ to practise your maths skills!
Writing: Choose a planet and make a fact file about it! Here’s an example of how you could do it!
We use dienes to help us understand subtraction!
We’ve been learning about the water cycle!
Can you learn The Water Rap?
