Good afternoon Year 4!
So it is time for our final sharing assembly of the year! A time to celebrate all the fantastic work you have done during your time in Year 4, both in school and at home.
The work you have sent over the last few months have really made all of us smile, and we are all very proud.
Have a safe and restful break over the summer, and we look forward to seeing you in September, when you return to Year 5.
Miss Ashby, Miss Simpson, Mr Bothick
Good morning Year 4! Happy Friday! And today is the last day of term. 🙁 BUT that means you have 6 weeks to enjoy the summer break! 😁
So today’s maths is celebrating the summer holidays. Your job today is to put all your maths knowledge to use, to find out who is responsible for all the melted ice cream! You’ll need to put your detective hats on.🕵️♂️🕵️♀️
If you need any help or have any questions, just let me know in the comments section. I will put the answers up towards the end of the day.
Good morning Year 4! It is the final day of the school year, so today, I would like you to write an acrostic poem about summer.
Remember that in an acrostic poem, each line starts with a letter from a word – and our word is SUMMER! ☀⛱
Good morning Year 4s! It is very nearly Friday – which means it is very nearly the end of term. That also means that I need your entries for the final sharing assembly of the year.
Remember, it can be of anything you like. It could be your favourite piece of work you’ve done during lockdown, it could be a photo of your favourite thing to do (maybe baking a cake, or a beautiful painting), or, it could be a message to your friends.
The only rule is… It should be something that you are really proud of!
Get your submissions to me by the end of today if you want them to appear on the blog. You can send them to me at 4Ahomelearning@holbeach.lewisham.sch.uk
Miss Ashby 🙂
Today you are going to write your final creative writing task! You can choose from:
Task 1: Tell the story of what sunflowers do at night, when there is no sun.
Task 2: Explain to an alien what a sunflower is.
Or you could do both!
Good morning Year 4! How are you getting on with this week’s maths? Today is the last day that you’ll be looking at multiples. Tomorrow, I’ve got a little end of term treat for you!
Remember to use the comments section if you need to ask any questions.
And today’s challenge:
