Bug Club

Just a reminder to use Bug Club during half term. I have recently refreshed all the children’s books and there is a user guide if you scroll down this page. Your child should be able to read the books fairly independently but may occasionally need help answering the questions. In order to be allocated new books, they need to answer the ‘bug’ questions when they appear on a page.

Me and Mister P

We have almost finished our ‘class read’. We will be sad to say goodbye to Mr P and the author Maria Farrer who has been replying to Ms Chambers’ tweets.

If you would like to find out what happens to Mr P, there are more adventures to enjoy!

Homework in 3C

There is plenty you can do at home to help your child with their learning. As well as talking about shared interests and their learning, you should read to your child and listen to them read. Your child also has access to these online learning platforms:

BUG CLUB has lots of books for your child to read. They need to read right to the end of the book AND answer the questions as they read so that the book is marked as ‘read’. When the books have been completed, new ones can be allocated.

As well as weekly homework to complete, there are games and lessons to explore.
Practise times tables and challenge others to battles.
