We’ve had a wonderful day today, recommending books, reading books, going to the library and, of course, some dressing up!
Today is World Book Day and what a fabulous array of costumes we have in 1S! Take a look at them below! Can you guess who we all are?
Can you think of the categories of our next pictures?
As part of the celebrations we went to the library to read some books.
We had a great day exploring our favourite books. We came up with gruesome recipies, created our own comics and looked at calligrams. We even had a quiz to test our knowledge of classic fiction!
Hello Year Two,
This week in Science we learnt about human and animal habitats. Click on the link below which will take you to BBC Bitesize and the Galaxy Pugs games. Choose to play the habitats game and then you could try the microhabitats game if you have time.
Good luck, let us know how you get on.
Miss Townsend and Miss Butler 🙂
This week we have been celebrating world book day. We have had a fantastic day today, dressing up like our favourite book characters, visiting the library and sharing stories all day!
For your home learning this week write a book recommendation or review. You could choose a story that we have read at school or choose a book of your own.
For your book review you could:
> Draw a picture of the front cover or characters
> Write what you liked the most, what was your favourite part and who you would recommend the book to.
>Draw and describe one or more characters from the story.
>Give the book a rating out of 5 stars!
Have a wonderful time enjoying lots of books!!
