As always there will be a separate maths and reading comprehension blog post.
We look forward to and love receiving photos and videos showing what you have been learning and doing at home. hat you have been getting up to at home over the last 6 weeks. Not only that it’s great to see your smiling faces too! Keep sending them in for us to share on a Friday.
As always, if you have any questions or want to send work in, email us at:
Remember to look carefully, as there are three different versions of the same text, with three different sets of questions. So, choose the one you think is most suitable for you and have a go at reading it through and then answering the questions. The answers have also been included.Â
This week, we would like you to continue following the link below to the White Rose Maths website and watch the videos, as normal (Summer Term – Week 6). However, just like previous weeks, once you have finished watching the videos, we would like you to use the corresponding activities for that lesson/day (see below).
REMEMBER, some of the activities have been divided up into three different categories – ‘Mild’, ‘Spicy’ and ‘Hot’ OR have multiple worksheets. We would recommend that you choose the one you would like to have a go at.
All the best and don’t forget to let us know how you are getting on!
We hope you enjoyed half term and are ready for another week of fun!
Do you remember listening to Handa’s Surprise at school and making your own little books? This week we are going to enjoy this story again but we have some different activities for you this time!
Welcome back! I hope you all had a lovely half term. This week’s distance learning can be downloaded below. Don’t forget to send in your work to your class teacher so they can upload it in time for Friday’s sharing assembly.
Dear Parents ~ the tasks each week are suggestions. If one really grabs your child’s interest, go for it, build on it. If you don’t fancy something or it’s tricky to manage, you can happily ignore it.
Today you could try and build your own hive, you could use blankets and cushions, get snuggly in your hive and then come out for a fly, buzz about, shake your stinger, flap your wings, do your waggle dance, visit some flowers and then buzz back to your hive!
Here is the flight of the bumblebee to get you into a buzzy mood!
Make a paper plain and decorate it to look like a bee. How far can your bee fly? Can you have a family bee race? Whose bee went furthest?
Don’t forget to send us your radient rainbows for the class collages.
Please spread the word to your friends and send your photo to your class email address. Let’s share some smiles and rainbows!
I hope you are all trying to keep fit and healthy while we are at home. This looks really fun! Book your place now for free!
