Hello Year Two,
It’s the end of another busy week for everyone. Miss Spicer and Miss Butler have had a busy week in school teaching the Year One and Two children and I have had a busy week working at home. I hope you have all enjoyed completing your home learning this week, it has been wonderful to receive photos of what you have been getting up to.Well done to everyone who has been working hard at home, we are proud of each and every one of you.

Mihir has been a very busy boy this week. He has been working hard in English, Maths and completed lots of the reading comprehension sheets. He has also completed the flower art work,which looks absolutely beautiful, from a couple of weeks ago. I am also very impressed with your clay model Mihir. That must have taken you a long time and lots of concentration to create a model with such detail. Excellent work Mihir, keep it up.
Amy has also been working hard this week. She has completed the English, Maths and Reading Comprehension. Well done Amy, I am very impressed with how neatly you are setting out all your work.
Also working very hard at home was Jacob. He wrote about where the alien spaceship landed and he made Empire Windrush from his construction toys. Jacob has also been working very hard on a maths website called ‘Maths Factor’. He has recently earned a certificate for his work on fractions, well done to you Jacob, keep up the great work.
Sofija as also been working hard in English and Maths and History. She has written down some facts about Gandhi, completed the measuring activities and thought about the creative writing tasks for English. Well done Sofija, keep up the good work. 2S
Diana has been working hard at home completing the measuring activities in maths and she has written lots of facts about fruits. Well done for numbering each of your facts, it makes them very clear to read.

Once again Eden has sent in some beautifully presented work. She has been practising her spellings, drawing and reading scales in maths, completing the science work and writing some facts about Gandhi. Brilliant work Eden. 2T
Autumn has been a very busy girl this week. She has completed lots of the maths work on time, measuring and arrays. For science, the life cycle of a sunflower and lots of the reading comprehension sheets. Autumn also wrote her magic seed story about a unicorn finding a seed. I am very impressed with all your history work on Gandhi Autumn, you really did use the resources very well to write so much about him. Excellent Autumn, keep up the good work
Another busy boy this week was Mylo. He continued the theme of healthy eating at home and made some banana muffins and wrote out the recipe to go with them. They look very tasty Mylo! Mylo has also completed his maths measuring work, written about the book called ‘The Cave’ and then written is own thoughts about what is in the cave. He completed the sunflower and farm worksheets for science. For art Mylo collected some leaves from the park and then experimented with cyanotype sun prints. He also made a collage character too. Lots of fantastic work Mylo, well done.
Dylan has also had a busy couple of weeks. He has completed the history and geography activities and included some great facts about France. He went to a farm in Kent and picked some strawberries and asparagus. Those strawberries look delicious Dylan! He even has some strawberries growing in his garden. Dylan also completed lots of the English activities. He described the cave book, wrote about a woolly mammoth and used lots of similes in his cave story. Fantastic work Dylan.
