Pumpkin Soup!

Last week, we read the book ‘Pumpkin Soup’ by Helen Cooper:

/th?id=OPE.NhEbM3Go3GMIdQ300C300&pid=21.1We were worried about the Duck, who ran away from home after the Squirrel and the Cat upset him. We wrote notes to encourage him to come home and drew maps to help him find his way home:

We strengthened our motor skills and had fun investigating pumpkins; hammering golf tees into them and scooping out the seeds!

We then made our own Pumpkin Soup. The pumpkin was very tough to chop!

After it was cooked, we all had our own cup of soup. Some of us loved it, and some of us didn’t like the taste of it!

It was a big thumbs up from Mrs Canaj and Mrs Fitzpatrick!

Lorenzo certainly didn’t like it, he is not very adventurous with food but at least he got involved with the preparation.

He did very well to try it!
